for a daily driver
I would like to keep my inner fenders in fro the fronts and if i had to chop the rear in teh bed thats fine, but i would like to keep the price to where its just for stuff i would need. So here it is, whast would be the best set up for my situation. I am lookin at getting a 98-03 ext. cab s10 extreme and I have been told to do a 3 link, but is ther a big difference between a 3 and a 4 link in ride quality and how good it holds up? ALso, a decent compressor is fine, i dont need one that will fillup in like 30 seconds, just trying to get a basic system and not too wild.

Re: for a daily driver
My 2 cents on it, I'm running a 99 standard cab, bolt in 3 link, i had issues with the Firestones F9000 bags, kept ripping the shock mounts clean off, so now running without then, soon to add them back for the ride quality, if you keep your setup below 120 psi you should not have any problems with your setup, nothing wrong with 30 seconds of air, if you think about it, why get a real small compressor for a daily driver, when you could get stuck in cold weather with a compressor that does not kick fast enough to get you moving like you want to?

Re: for a daily driver
As for differences in 3 or 4 link, hopefully someone will provide differences between BOLT IN setups like my RoadGrater Kit, or a WELD IN 4 link kit, unless theres a BOLT IN one, let me know. LOL

Re: for a daily driver
theres are so many different setups...they all have pros and cons..but in the end it all about how u set it up...run shocks in the back and front for perfect ride quality. most people will use a 4-link if they are going with a fuel cell and or relocating stock gas tank (like the blazer tank swap). i suggest the typical setup sd 3-link slam re7s with shocks, slam re7s up front u dont NEED shocks for the front but thats kinda pereferance(sp?), 4 valves with check valves 8 gallon tank and a viair dual pack..

Re: for a daily driver
Is it possible to run that gas tank on a S10 without problems, just running lines right? keep the stock S10 fuel pump, or what!?

Re: for a daily driver
the behind the axle between the frame stock blazer gas tank ya have to cut the spring rods on the stock s-10 fuel pump assembly to fit into the tank...and the gas gauge might be off a little...ive never actually done i collected up all the info and parts on it once but then my setup wouldnt allow for the tank to be there so i had to go with a fuel cell..
