Can you guys cut this on your CNC for me?

Hey Jason or Ricky, can you guys please do me a huge favor? I made a stupid mistake and drilled in the wrong spot on my checkmate bed cover for the locks I installed on it. I need longer tabs made for them.
Do you think you guys could cut these out for me? I would really appreciate it.
I'd like to have them by the time I go to carlisle on Aug. 8th, but I know you guys are busy, so either way, just let me know.

Thanks a ton!

This is what they look like, but this tab is too short....

This is how they work on the bed cover. Put the key in and turn them and they lock under the rail

Check some out at a truck store. Cap locks are similar and there are different lengths. I used to install tonneaus and caps and we had a plethera of different ones in case the ones the cap came with were too short.

Also, you could just fab one up yourself? or get someone to weld on an extension for you?

probably could get someone to weld on extensions for me but I just figured I'd ask these guys if they could cut them out for me... granted it doesn't cost a ton of money...

Re: Can you guys cut this on your CNC for me?

Funny that you ask about something like this. I have two strips of metal that are about 4.25 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. All you would need to do is grind them down to the length you need and put the square hole in the one end.. I had them made for the armrests of my 96 so that I could put the screws in and have them be functional but, they were too long for what I needed. Pm me and lemme know if ya want them and I can get them sent out sometime early this week.

Go to your local metal shop. At our shop I have a shear, strippit punch, and radius notcher and could have that done in just a few minutes. No need to do any kind of CNC work.

Re: Can you guys cut this on your CNC for me?

cnc is way overkill for that.
square holes are annoying, but a couple hours with a good file will even work fine.

doesn't have to be that precise. Just estimate from the picture.
