Re: Bolt on 3 Link ?????

will a weld on 3 link work for a long bed aswell? i think i was readin the same thread the OP was. the website says the weld on will work for all s10's, but someone brought up the fact that there are a few spots where the frames differ in measurement....

Re: Bolt on 3 Link ?????

the frame is different before the axle, over the axle, and behind the axle. however, the gastank crossmember is the same distance from the axle, so the 3link kits will work. a 5link kit will need modification to fit tho.

Re: Bolt on 3 Link ?????

as dave said, the weld on and bolt on 3links should work. the backhalf will not, and the 5 link will work with minor modifications.

Re: Bolt on 3 Link ?????

I just double checked the GM build diagrams and the gas tank crossmember is 16.54" from the axle centerline on every s10 produced, so I dunno what youre talking about.

they say the bolt-on backhalf will NOT work.
the weld on will work with different measurements from the 'stock' design
