Bolt In 3-link Question

Road Grater Kit, My shock mounts are busted, used to have the Firestone F9000 bags, now have RE6's for the bags with that lower plate that were used on the F9000, is there a better way to mount new shock tabs in place of the old, which would work, and what type of shocks would work to not be over extended?!

Re: Bolt In 3-link Question

Well, get a photo of the RoadGrater kit off there website, my lower tabs went out first, had a buddy of mine with a welder try to fix them, they worked good, they are still there, but then the uppers went out the next the shocks were in. Kinda give you a idea, the shocks are angled and not straight up and down, my truck does do side to side, unless this road grater was not setup for side-to-side motion.

Re: Bolt In 3-link Question

you can just use our sideways upper shock mounts, they are a lot stronger than ARTs and mount the same way.

Can you show me a photo of how these would be mounted, can you suggest a shock possibly for this setup?!

you can see them on the 5link shock bar here:

i would just use the stock RG shocks, other than that i dunno what to use, maybe a LUV or C10 shock, they work well.
