5-link help/?'s

i bought my truck with the 5-link already on it (i know why not do it urself but for $1500 i could not pass it up + a buddy needed help)...so anyways i recently took the step-shavers off to re-do/fix them and i realize when they are not on there it will lay lower in the back, i also noticed when it does this that the u-joint on the driveshaft hits the front mount (actually the bolt) for the upper link!

should i be concerned about this, cuz i am, or should i just put the shavers back on so that i wont ever go that low again?

Re: 5-link help/?'s

^^yes i do

^and with the shavers on there like i could go as low without them, but it would crush the shit out of them, ya kno what i mean? like without the shavers on there i can go lower, past the point of them hitting if they were on there

Re: 5-link help/?'s

youre putting the kit past its designed point of operation, the truck will never go that low with full body panels so i wouldnt mess with it.

Re: 5-link help/?'s

if u are concerened about it u could put some rubber bump stops on the notch to limit the drop to where u want it to stop
