Thumbs up Too Sweet!

Hey Slam! Are those custom enclosures? An how difficult was it to make them? I have the exact Blazer and am looking to lower it. Was it difficult, being a 4x4? Do you have your spare tire elsewhere? I hate my tirerack on the back. I'm about to take it off. Thanks!

thanks guys... that sub box is custom made. I have another one just like it on the other side of the truck too. The boxes took me about 50 hours to complete. It's made of plastic, fiberglass, mdf and bondo. The hardest part was wrapping it in vinyl. I could write a story about lowering it but I will just say get the Belltech kit and use it. simple.. My spare is a cell phone. Will be going to run flats on my next tires. That might be a while since I only put on 5,000 kms per year.

Dan...the part number for the Bell Tech kit is 3914. It comes with the special torsion key for 3" drop up front, and 3" springs for the back. Talk to pat (slammed4x4). He did some cutting and repositioning of the front x-member to get it that low. For the euros, StreatBeat probably has the best prices on the apc's...I've ordered tons of crap from them, good luck so far. BTW, how you liking the Jimmy?

Sorry for the bad picture here. This is my wife's 1994 Olds Bravada. I have so far installed:

GMC Typhoon front suspension and set at Typhoon specs for ride height
GMC Typhoon rear suspension
GMC Typhoon AWD transfer case

Right now preparing to put in:

Modified 4L60E
LT1 with MAYBE a mod or 2.... maybe a Vortech supercharger; who knows.

Sorry about the bad picture; it is in my dark, cavernous garage.

don jr that is one really high 5/6 drop. looks more like a 3/4 or 4/4! you should take off the chrome trim over the wheel wells! would look so much better and throw on some 18's or 20s and you'd be set!!!!
