Re: lmc truck

both rear fenders are rotted so i am replacing mine with parts from j.c whitney.

here is a pic of my truck it has 197,000 miles on it. the bottom parts are sheet metal screwed into the rusted body and look alright, but need to replace the rear wheel arches and behind the bumper. looks like 100.00 a side for new metal from j.c.

JCW has shaved door kits for like 39.00!! I dont think I would trust those. But there sheetmetal products should be ok.

Re: lmc truck

Keep us informed. I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. A buddy of mine wants to weld me up some rockers, quarters and door skins this summer and was looking around and their prices caught my eye.The only thing i ever bought from them was my dixie horn and that works like a charm.

Re: lmc truck

That truck looks like mine but the sides are rusted in front of the rear tires completely rusted out. Also my rocker pannels are rusted through on the bottom i think i might just cut them and weld in a pice of sheet metal on the bottom. The front fenders need replacing but i don't know if i will do it its around 200 bucks for two i will see if i can find some decent ones at the junk yard.
