How low can you go ?

I just bought a 94 blazer 4 door and am wondering how low can I go before i have to c notch it ?

It sits level at 32" to top of wheel arch, I'm thinking a 5/4. Any and all sugestions considered.

Thanks guys

I'm at 4 in the back on my 2 door and no notch, but if you go lower then that you should atleast put in a bolt in small notch.

Couple inches before the bumpstops roughly.

Hard bottom outs? What did you use to drop it?

Re: How low can you go ?

I had to remove the bump stops (not hard to do, just gotta have a torch or a cutoff wheel) with 4" drop in the rear. I used drop blocks. If you only use blocks, you don't need drop shocks. If you use lowering springs, you need drop shocks.

I see... does anything have to be adjusted when using 4 inch blocks to comply with driveshaft? About how much of a drop does pulling a leaf give?

Re: How low can you go ?

Pulling a leaf is ~ 1.5 inch drop. Ya I used four inch angled blocks, I still have my bump stops, but that is because I still have a full exhaust and I don't want to bang the axle against the exhaust, besides I don't hit the bump stops much unless it's a big bump.

if where your around the most is bumpy, your going to get harsh bumps (also how fast you drive). I had 4" blocks on mine and got pissed each time I went "donk" in the back. Suicide Doors has a bolt in c-noth that accommodates the crooked frame. For my bump stops, I used a cut off wheel and grind wheel to clean up the left overs.
