Heater core covers

ok, anyone know if a heater core cover from a early first gen dash(the one with the round gauges) will fit on a later first gen? last owner of my 88 broke the cover and im tired of heat pouring outta the crack and not out of hte vents

They should all be the same.The only thing that will be differant is ac and no ac.What do you need the inside part of the cover.
