15" "irocs" are not iroc's there z-28 wheels kinda like greencactus's ride. any third gen camaro wheel (82-92) will fit with no mods.
But the 16" "true irocs"/trans am wheels/GTA wheels like mine have a different backspace on the rear. 4.5" on front and 5 1/8" on back and I chose to get 4 fronts becuae I always noticed the rears at in more.

any camaro/firebird wheel after 92 will need spacers to bolt to a 2wd but bolt right on to a 4x4. all corvette wheels from 84-up will bolt on to a 4x4 S-10 with no mods

no they do not. i own a set myself. these also had different offsets front and rear. greencactus bought some spacers for the difference. if your lucky you can find 4 front's and you wont have any problems.

this is because you have to run the front on the front and the back on the back. they are labbeled. if you try and put the backs on the front they hit the tie rod end. this is why I got a set of 4 fronts becuase the back sit in 5/8 of an inch more. You can notice the different offset on the GTA rims becuase of the lip they have. its not as noticeble on the the z-28's and irocs

hold up on some info regarding my wheels....
mine are the 15" z28s.
i have the same offset on each wheel. (so i have 4 fronts or 4 rears i dont know)
the b/s is 1/4" less than the stock 15x7s,
so if you can deal with the losing 1/2" of track width, and arent too low, you can use them with no spacers.
i needed a 3/8" spacer up front AND grinding a bit off the LCA to retain my full lock to lock steering without rubbing.
i also added a 1/4" spacer to keep the stock rear track width


btw. i got my set of 4 in relatively good condition for just over $100

Ya,Ive got the same on my 91 Noma as greencactus,but I dont have spacers so I rub a bit at lock.
As far as IROC's go,you can swap them back too front,but on a Blazer they will rub the rear bumpstops if your tire is pretty wide,I had to trim mine on my 88 Blazer,but Im running 255 wide on them.

My buddy had a 91 4dr, we put 16" IROC rims on it, if you keep the back to the back and front to the front they will be fine, I think i've got some pics of the old truck on my computer, i'll post if i can find them. Keep in mind, Caprices, Monte Carlos, and the like all have the same bolt pattern. 4-3/4X5

Hot topic lately. I run 1990 Camaro RS wheels, 4.5 bs on the fronts, 5 1/8 bs rear. 16X8. I run the rears up front and the fronts out back. I don't see how people have problems running rears up front. Lowered with just drop spindles I was running 235/60-16, and they were fine. Now I am lowered with spindles, 2" drop springs, and sway bar end links from a Camaro, with 245/50-16, and they have never rubbed anything.

Just so you know the 15" RS camaro wheels are the smae backspacing all around they were all the same.

if your talking about the same rs wheels me, greencactus and a few others have then just to let you know there is a difference in offset on them. thats why they're labeled front and back. i also have the zq8 style camaro rims, i put the backs on the front and they almost ripped my tie rod off. $300 is a bit high for them, mine came with my first 1st gen. then i later ot the camaro zq8 style 16's. i'll check my rs wheels tomorrow and see if all 4 are fronts.

Yes I am talking about the ones like greencatus. And I know they are the same b/c I have 3 Camaros that came with them and none say front or back. The 16" rims do have different offsets but the 15" 82-92 RS 5 spoke Aluminum ones have the same offsets. Both my 83, 85, and 91 have there original rims and none say front or back.

thats what i figgured. I dont think the guy with the lowered 4door has a regular set. My GTA wheels did the same thing I was trying to move the truck and it wouldint move then I notced the wheel was dig into the tierod whoops!

i'm not trying to strike up an arguement, but as long as i've known these cars, the wheels had diff offsets. and it was noticable on s10's because for some reason the front wheels wouldnt rub at all, but when the rear wheels were put on the front, problems like greencactus's would occur. i've also had many friends get a full set off a stock camaro and had the same problems, and i know for a fact all four are 15x7's so width cant be a factor. alot of guys on here have discussed it before also. have you ever put your camaro's rear wheels on the front of your s10? maybe even one front rim and one back rim on opposing sides so you can take a picture or compare then to see if there's a noticable difference?

I have had the front rims on the front and back off my s10 and I have put the rears on and have never had a difference with them. I rotate my rims on my camaros and I also use them on my s10 and all my rims have the same markings on the back side about 15x7s but the back space is the same on the 15" 82-92 RS. I have talked to many people with 3rd gen camaros and they have all said the same thing including GM mechcanics. Even my Camaro books state that the 15x7 RS rims have the same back spacing.

hmm..some s10's must be crazy then. im glad you cleared this up. any clue as to why some trucks have problems? besides greencactus because him being barely higher than a reflector gives reason for LCA trimming. mine never rubbed or anything on neither of my s10's so i was going by what i heard and seen.

I think it might be a problem on 2nd gens but I have all 1st gens and I have no rubbing issuse. Here is a quote I got from one of my Camaro boards
The 15x7 from the '82-'92 Camaro & Firebirds. These wheels have 4 1/4" backspace.

Those numbers match all my rims aswell.

My Camaro rims are 15X7 with the same backspacing,they came from an 1984 Camaro,305V8 car.
Only Camaro rims from the 3rd gens with diffrent offsets were the IROC rims from 85-87,and I think 88-89 2nd IROC style were diffrent offsets,but the 90-92 ZQ8 style are also diffrent offsets.
But ALL 15 inch Camaro rims have the same backspacing.

I was reading awile back about the suspention on those cars and why they ran offset out back.

mabie thats why that 2wd 4door can run those RS 16" wheels.

Yeah I believe thay had spacers as well. I know that when my mom bought an 85or 87 firebird it had 16s and the rear had some spacers and they looked to be stock. I still have them some where.

There has to be a difference between trucks/Jimmy. I now know from taking my front (marked rear) off my front and trying to put it on the front of a 2ng gen S10 it would not work, yet it fits fine on the front of my 91 Jimmy. I am stumped on this. I don't have access to another 2wd, 4dr Jimmy so someone else try to put a rear Camaro wheel on the front of their 1st gen Jimmy/Blazer so I can stop feeling like a retard.

Seeing how I have both vehicles, I may try it out for you in a couple of days .

When I had a '87 S10 (2wd), my ROC rims fit on it without any problems.

My RS wheels were on my old Iroc when I bought the car, so they are not original to the Iroc, but they ARE Camaro wheels, clearly marker front and rear. The Iroc wheels on it in the picture were also put on my 91 Jimmy and they were fine too.

i have a 2nd gen s10 and i can put either front nor rear rims on the front. the rims are off a 89 iroc z. the front rims barely clear the upper control arm and the rear rims slice the tierod end. this is at full lock.

I have a brand new set of ZQ8 factory rims with nuts and caps still in the boxes with the early bolt pattern and right off set.The new bolt pattern type are over $600+ shipping at on line dealers,don't know if early bolt pattern are still available.Will take $500 + shipping if anyone is interested.

i have a set of 16's that came off of my 86 t/a. i thought you had to run the rears on the front and vice versa for them not to rub. i'm going to put them on my 91 blazer 2wd 2d with 245.50's all around.

I tried to put on a set of "salad shooter" rims off of a 4thgen camaro on my 94 blazer yesterday to I could trailer it home. On the front it hits the control arm, on the rear it hits the frame. Spacer will be required and I assume all 4th gen rims will have this same issue.
