Cutting the roof off my blazer

ok here is the deal, i have a 93 v6 vortec blazer and a 91 tbi v6. the motor is knocking in the blazer and its for sale, but if it doesnt sell here are my plans....

put the vortec motor and tranny in my s10 for the 40hp gain..its my performance vehicle...and then put the tbi motor in the blazer and cut the roof off and make a roadster...problem is i am having trouble finding 2dr roadsters

i want to keep it lowered static on my zq8s, white, chrome grille and chrome smoothy bumper with a roll pan and maybe lay the windshield back about 10 degrees...

now i need your guys' opinion and a photoshop

here is my blazer, now can some one chop it for me and let me see how it would look?

the only other option i will consider for wheels is like an 17in/18in combo to give it more of a hotrod look, most likely budniks since my bro can get me some

Re: Cutting the roof off my blazer

i hate it when people cut the tops off blazers. i usually don't like 1st gen blazers, but yours looks good how it sits in that pic. i deff wouldn't cut the top off

Re: Cutting the roof off my blazer

yeah im starting to agree....im not sure what i will do...i might actually switch it out to the tbi stuff and then put in a 350 under the tbi, i could do this in my s10 but dont want the added weight and i can't afford an ls1

Re: Cutting the roof off my blazer

If anything put a huge ragtop on it. I've never seen a 1st gen with one.

Re: Cutting the roof off my blazer

yeah i will not be cutting the roof off...it looks better with it on

idk what will happen to it though, with gas prices i dont really want a v8 and i have 3 other vehicles and a dune buggy already...so im afraid to say it will probably leave my hands when i put the tbi v6 in it

Re: Cutting the roof off my blazer

There's a guy around here that had a 95 2 dr 4wd that had a tree fall on it. He took a sawzall and cut everything from the windshield back off right about the dew wipes on the doors. He finally sold it and a kid had a reg. cab put on it and new doors. He then got the inside of a truck bed and the bed rails and shortened them and grafted it all together. It looks pretty good.
