Better Alternator ??
Hey there
I had posted this in another thread, but thought to put it here as well. If this is not the place I apologzie. Anyway, has anyone heard of (good or bad) and or tried one of these alternators .. http://www.alternatorparts.com/cs130_&_cs130d_alt.htm Mine is about due to be changed because of bearing noise. I drive a 1993 4dr S10 Blazer 4.3 auto with power windows, locks and so on. About 75% highway (and hour each way for work) and the rest inter-township. Normally I have rebuild these in the past, but I wanted something with aliitle more power output as I plan to run extras like upgraded light, nav system, and others. when I had the motor replaced about 50k miles ago, I have new Battery cables, grouding straps and some various connectors and wires also replaced, So I know all that is good. So any insght would be appreciated. |
