Here`s my 86, just the way I bought it. Lots of plans, been buying lots of parts. I`ll start working on it when the weather breaks. Hope I did this right.

And a pic of the engine. Small block Olds powered. It has some wiring problems, I`ll fix when I pull it apart.

Nice! I like how you put and Olds small block in it since it's a Bravada. Very original.

Re: 1st gen Blazers; post pics here

Thanks for the encouragement, but I can`t take the credit for the Olds motor installation. I bought it like this. I`m new to the S trucks. Always had Cutlass`s. Came across this by accident and could`nt pass it up. Exactly the way it is in the pics. The very next day I came across a 94 Bravada and bought it for parts. Since then I`ve bought a mint Bravada grill, 2 inch drop spindles, a fiberglass 2 inch cowl hood, a 8.8 Explorer, 3:73 posi rearend. A buddy gave me a complete plain heat set up so I can change out the a/c box. Another buddy gave me a complete smoke gray or black interior from another 2 door blazer. Lots of work to do, but it will never be a show truck. I enjoy driving them too much to worry about perfect paint and such. Sorry for cloogging up a pics thread.

That is cool. Very original. Need to hit that engine up with some spray detailer though. Looks like you've been off-roading.

Nope, that puppy is coming out. Working on a 350 or 403. But then again, I do have an extra 455.

Some nice stuff on here! Here's mine, it was a work in progress in the fall, then a winter beater, and in spring it will go back into the shop for more work.

If it's done right I think it'd look cool slammed to the ground. I thought about doing the same thing at one time.

Thanks man. It's been about a year and a half of hard work. It gets better and better every day. I was joking with the guys last night that I just want a sticker that says "Time To Drive!" for the back. I'm so ready to put it on the road!

There's more pics in my project page.

Here is mine. 3/4 Jimmy 1/4 Blazer. I am probably going to get a non rusted out Blazer or Jimmy and reuse all my new parts and my leather interior.

Cool man. It's good to know what to do yourself and what to leave to others. I wouldn't have been able to do 75% of this crap if it weren't for some great friends helping out.

Here's one more from last night.

Re: 1st gen Blazers; post pics here

Ok, this is kind of going off-topic since we're not posting Blazer pics so I'll keep it short.

I owned a '96 2-door Blazer and got sick of trying to squeeze people in the back seat. Now I have a 4-door '99 and the 4-door '91 project truck. You don't have to worry about seeing as many 4-door 1st gens since they were only made for a few years.

TrYiN2LaYaDiMe,
I don't know where your at but I know someone here in MI trying to sell his. It's almost brand new. Bought it then sold his 1st gen. Probably won't ship though.

Ok, I'm done being off-topic here. Feel free to bring any random 4-door talk over to my thread.
