are you using 2600's in the back? if so, how did you get them to fit? I'm still planning out how I am going to do the 2 link in the rear. I have a panhard bar that I would like to put in and move the shocks to the outside like you did.

I know, I have some 2600's like yours and it was almost hitting the tip of that lower fender piece. Did you have to do a little trimming there? I kind of don't want to use 25's cause I didn't like the ride I had when I had them on my old truck so I'm going to give the 26's a go.

Also if I may, what kind/brand of shocks are you using? Mine look too long to do that.

Re: 1st gen Blazers; post pics here

question for you blazer guys. I just picked one up and it rides rough as hell. I think someone cut the springs. Will i have rubbing issues if i drop is 4" in the front? Truck has 245/35/20 on it.

hard to say...you sure the springs were cut...and yes it will ride bad if they didnt know what they were doing when they cut the springs

i dont think you will have too much rubbing issues as long as you get a good firm shock like a mid grade or really high grade gabriel shock

reason i say this is that i have a 1st gen s10 with 255/50/16s with a 3" drop
and the tire diameter is 26.0" roughly and i get moderate rub, but nothing that will hurt the tires..its all on the tread and mainly when i turn really sharp

the blazers sit about 1" to 1.5" higher than an s10 does if im not mistaken and also from the measurements i have taken b/w my 2wd s10 and my 2wd 2dr blazer.

so a 4" drop with a 245/35/20 which is about 26.75" shouldnt rub too bad i bet it will though...maybe only when you turn in a parking lot or go through a ditch...i say let it rub as long as its not on anything that will cut the tire

the inner fender wells on my truck stay shiny raw from my tire rub..but i drive mine harder than 95% of people on here
