HOW TO TAKE OUT 3RD BRAKE LIGHT AND LENSE HOUSING
HERES WHAT TO DO, TAKES ONLY A FEW MIN. YOU CAN EITHER PUT A DIF LENSE IN OR SHAVE IT UP!! GOOD LUCK!:thumbup:

How To Take Out 3rd Brake Light
TOOLS NEEDED ARE #2PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER, 7MM SOCKET, PICK
THIS IS DONE IF U NEED TO REPLACE THE HOUSING, OR IF YOUR GONNA SHAVE THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. THE DOME LIGHT IS ATTACHED SO ITS A GOOD IDEA TO SCRAP THAT UNLESS U REALLY NEED IT. ALL THIS CAN BE DONE FROM INSIDE THE CAB. THESE PICS ARE TAKEN AFTER THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT HAS BEEN REMOVED, BUT IF U FOLLOW THE INFO AND PICS U WONT HAVE A PROB, HERES PICS.. |

2 7mm screws out, from the inside push the 3rd brake light housing up and with a pick pull on the edge of the housing and it will come out, do this carefully.

This plate is behind the 3rd brake light lens and housing inbetween the outside and inner cab metel, lift up and pull out
