Now take the 2 long bottom bolts that you had first taken out and bolt the handle to the housing.

The Top bolt is On The Bottom In This Pic

Ok so now tighen them all the way BUT WAIT! Do Not I repeat DO NOT BOLT UP THE TOP BOLT. Take that bolt right back out. Leaving the top bolt will dent the tail gate when you install the handel housing. So what you want to do is discard THE TOP BOLT!

Left Side Latch

Ok so what u now want to do is flip the latches(leave loose), rods, and make sure the rod ends that attach to the handle are facing down if u dont do that you run into problems!

Ok so now put pressure on the housing and pull the handle, look for the ends where the latches are if the tabs moe inwards when u pull the handle you installed it all correctly!! Now u can bolt down the latches, and pre drill the holes for some sheet metal screws. After you do all that then u can prep the housing for primer, then get it painted!!

Now the kits should come with a filler plate for the outside tail gate. Do your prep work and then weld it, smooth out the welds, do some body filler, prime and paint! Thats all there is to it, and when all complete you'll have a functional and smooth tail gate!
