zr2 shackle ?'s

Hey guys.. I'm lookin for just a little bit of extra lift on the zr2 so I was thinking about going with the 2" shackles from 3 leaf and a tbar tweak up front. Anybody have any avail. pictures of their zr2 with this set up? Also are new shocks recommended? My stock bilsteins are still on with 166k so it's prolly time anyway Also everyone keeps saying that this route will take a pretty hard toll on my front end but just how fast will this wear out ball joints and tie rods if I put new one's on with the lift? Will they need to be replaced yearly? Bi-yearly? Any help is welcome!! Thanks

Right, I realize that the stock Bils rock, but if I add 2" of height to the truck I would like to run extended length shocks in which case my question was regarding wether or not this was necessary.

here it is before shackles in the back. it already has a tba crack in front.

and here it is with the 2" shackles and air shocks in the rear.

it had to much of a rack for me so i let some of the air out and it dont sit like that any more

Re: zr2 shackle ?'s

i have had my lift on my 94 for 6yrs now or so and i have repalce teh tie rods ends 6 times and ball joints 3 times. The last I put on the SL upper arms with moog balljoints. It never see offroad just the occasional dirt road. A lift and bigger tires are havoc on the little frt susp
