I Have 2 Duty Station Choices What Do I Pick??

I have the choice of Warner Robbins at Robins AFB in GA, or Marietta GA?? what one should i pick?? i am a Marine but i will be stationed on the AFB, i have 2 kids and one on the way and am married what would be my better choice??

Might want to ask someone there on your base now. They usually know a bit about other bases.

If I were you, I'd choose the one closer to other family, that way maybe you can visit them and let them see your kids also?

I know your taking the wife and kids, I meant your other family... like grandparents and stuff.

If thats out of the case of them seeing them, then maybe do a search on what's close by for the kids to do, and school districts, etc.

That way you can make the most out of you being there

what's your mos? i was at marietta for a bit after katrina but i thought it was on the dod base list to close?

Robbins is really small and I didnt really care for it too much.. never been to warner robbins though.. I have a buddy stationed at Robbins though.. AF

Robins small? Man what other main hub for Air Force maintenance do you know of? That place is huge. The City is expanding as the days go by. I have been in the area for 10 years and it has grown 10 times by that. and its in the center of GA, a hour and a half from atlanta, a hour and a half from alabama, a two hour and fifteen minute drive to the east coast shore, and about 3 hours from the gulf.
