I'll be right behind ya here in about 30 days.... 1BCT...We're supposed to be somewhere around Baghdad..What are ya'll doing over there right now? As of now, i just take people to and from other bases... the iraqis are required to escort us through towns.. its pretty gay..but at least if we get hit, it will be them.. Our brigade took over 5 provinces.. its pretty crazy our ao is more than a division size ao... Its alot more calm than last time though, but there is still shit out there.. our escort got hit with an efp 4 days ago near balad.. Other than that, its still the same ol iraq... and we still dont let civilians get into our convoy, regardless of what the rules say...
