'nother Ebay SS for sale
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...29 0215401548
Whayda think? This isn't really the usual "is it or isn't it" thread, I suppose it would be easy enough to have the guy e-mail pics of the RPOs. Basically i'm feeling out the price, see what you guys think. A little steep for the mileage, even assuming it's a real deal b4u, and the paint is as good as the pics imply, huh? |

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
3500 is prolly about the highest I would go on it, i like it except for the bench seat and the 94 steering wheel...at least its a true ss, dont find those too often on ebay!lol

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
The bench seat wouldn't be an issue, I'd just swap in my Camaro seats, but I see where you're going. I'm looking for a '94 or '95 dime since recent changes in IL emissions laws don't require testing for '95 and earlier non-OBD II vehicles, and an SS would be nice since then I don't have to mess with removing any chrome. Then I can throw in whatever small block, carb or efi, that suits my whims at the time.

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
I hate the 60/40 split..it's the devil!lol..mine is getting buckets in soon..and your looking for a 94 or 95, the good thing about them is they have the big gas tanks so you can go longer on a full tank, i dont know when they stopped putting those in but my i know my dads 98 has the small tank and he gets about a week or so out of a full tank in his, maybe a little more and i can get 2-3 weeks out of a full tank and i drive it evryday

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
hmm ok, like i said, i could be wrong. guess that explains why it seemed like some of the tanks hang a little lower past the frame and are a little closer to the drive shaft. I just thought i was remembering wrong truck to truck

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
My 2000 4.3L has a 15 gal tank. I know this because I put in 14.5 gal of gas in last week.

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
Mine definelty has the smaller tank, didn't know it came with a bigger size. I don't like to let the needle get down too low. I think the most I've ever put in it was 12.8 gallons and that was too much in the red for my taste lol.

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
Right, but the needle is never an indicator of a completely empty tank. When I fill up when the needle hits empty, it usually takes around the 15 gallons. Sometimes 14.5. Sometimes a little over 16. But having had to replace fuel pumps on an "empty" tank, I can assure you there's more there than what the needle is saying.

Re: 'nother Ebay SS for sale
I think there's something like 3 gallons of gas left when the needle buries to E. I've heard the low fuel light will flash when your about to run out of gas, that may be just a myth.
