New and have a question about my 94 ss.

Ive got a 94 SS (white) just got finished replacing the fuel pump. now next problem to fix is occasionally when accellerating it feels like it goes from a 6 cylinder to a 3 cylinder engine, power wise. i wondered if it could be the spider injection? under the intake, i heard this was a problem on these trucks. it does not do it all the time, maybe injector problem, plugs are good wires are good. any help would be greatly appreciated. also can u purchase crate versions of these engines from gm or anywhere 4.3w? also needing a good tune up what besides the plugs cap and wires do you change? any sensors?

thanks,
lee

Re: New and have a question about my 94 ss.

Sounds like it could be a fuel issue. They sell the kits on ebay, the inlet and outlet or "nut kit." They eventually get brittle and leak, but you should be able to smell some gas if it's the nut kit that needs replacing. How's your fuel pressure?
How many miles do you have on it? And of course pics, we want to see pics. You can also purchase these in the crate as well. If you go that route though I'd just drop a V8 in it and be done. Hope this is a start, some other members should chime in too.
