That program runs heavy on a system(or it did a few years ago atleast) Why would you want to bog down your computer just for a look?

Re: XP->vista look

the Transformation gives you an option to replace windows files or simply copy what it needs. there is a full removal option that will take you back if you do not like it! and everything is included no trial.

Re: XP->vista look

I loaded it & got a couple virus warnings. Isolated them and
continued to load. I see some very minute changes but
nothing like what is posted above.

Perhaps those isolated files had some features that didn't
make it onto the load, but that's ok..

Seems like a nice program. Down the road I may go
for Window 7 Pro.

Re: XP->vista look

Well the Win 7 Pack does not like 3 Monitors haha. I ran into some goofy problems, that I had to remove the Pack, but on a single monitor system is is awesome!

For those that don't see all of the changes, it will only allow what your computer can handle. If it can not run it smoothly or properly it will disable it from install. ( kinda nice!)

Norton is crap (unless you're running Symantec corporate) too. Just because your ISP is giving it to you for free doesn't mean it's good. My ISP gives me free software too, but it causes conflicts with explorer.exe and locks up the system. How do I know? Family members ran the software after I told them not to, and then called expecting me to bail them out of trouble.

Seriously, avoid anything mcafee or norton like the plague. Go with AVG free. I've been running it exclusively for about 5 years with no problems.

Re: XP->vista look

Or you could just upgrade to Windows 7. Much better than XP and Vista.

Re: XP->vista look

The patcher helped. I kind of like this. I might buy a version of 7
down the road.
