Tired of ruining DVDs with the kids?
Rip all of your dvds to digital format and keep them safe. Then watch on a windows media center pc with your tv in your living room. You can also do TV shows, home videos, trailers, and more.
Here are two programs that let you use Windows Media Center for watching dvds without the disc. Both are excellent, and free. http://www.mediabrowser.tv http://www.mymovies.dk There's parental controls, plus a ton of other stuff you can do. I've been running this setup for the last 2 years now.
