id like a ps3 just for the movie aspect of it. but i love my 360. good games and all the online stuff. i can also link it with my computer and watch movies from it.

You can do all of that with the PS3. You can watch movies off your computer via media server or I just have them all on my PS3's hard drive.

I remember when the PS1's first came out I got one and it was like $330 or something near that so the new price is really good for all it does because the original ones didn't even play DVD's and they were VERY bad about overheating. I just noticed that the "traditional" 80gb's are $300 now as well.

What does Xbox have that PS3 doesn't other than house of the dead and halo? I have COD 4,5, and soon to be 6. I pretty much only play shooters anymore. I tried the Xbox's controller and found it a lot harder to use than the PS3's. I don't play online but I really think it's gay that you have to pay for it.

I think all the newer ones are like this. My 40gb I bought two years ago only played PS1's and my 80gb(original gb's) is the same way but who really cares about PS1 games anyway.

I have a BluRay already, All of my movies are on Discs, & I have netflix streaming directly through my 360. I don't think I'll get a PS3

Because they're all about making money, with no customer loyalty. Which is one of many reasons I wouldn't own an xblock. As soon as the 360 came out, they flat out dropped support for the original console, no? Playstation guarrentees a 10yr. support for their consoles. PS3 has been out for 2 maybe 3 years, and they still make games for PS2. Do they still make game for the original xbox? The reason I think this is important is, not everybody can run out and buy the next gen as soon as it hits the shelf. So it's good to know if you're going to be stuck on an older console, you'll still be able to get some new games.

its not really a console war until just now...where both models have high capacities and the same price point....I had a ps3 and honestly couldnt stand the psn communications, so I gave it up to my brother and nephew (LBP is awesome I dont care what you say). Now the pricepoint dropped enough again that I picked up another ps3. The xbox and ps3 both have their strong points ps3 is more media driven and cheaper because you get everything with it. Yet the 360 is leaps and bounds further in the online gaming aspect. Just matters which exclusives you like and which system your friends are playing.
