itunes Cd burning.
So last night, I went to create a few CD playlist like I usually do, It was a toal of about 50 songs (3ds). I went to burn it, it checked out & said that it was writing the discs, the wierd part is that it took almost a half an hour before it completed the 3 discs. Where on my old Dell it would've taken maybe 5 mins. I brought the cd's to my car and none of them read. I went and put them back in the computer to check them & it would register that there were 20 or so songs on each, but none of the track names/info was listed. Does anyone know why? Or what I can do to change this? I tried re-doing the playlist twice with the same results.

Nero? I've heard of it, but never felt like paying for it, since iTunes was free, it's what I've always used.

Re: itunes Cd burning.
well griff i have been burning and havnt had this problem but I would have to say the setting for burning are not right. Im guessing that you did tell it to be an audio cd, and not Mp3 or data cd? Speed should be max possible, but with out seeing your settings I cant really tell you whats wrong.

Yeah, I manually adjusted my settings prior to as always, and It's always at the fastest speed possible & audio cd. I've read on several sites that people were having the slow burning issue, but nothing about slow burn and the CD itself not playing afterwords. I think I may uninstall and re-install tonight and see if that does anything, even though I doubt it will since this computer is 3 weeks old.

Re: itunes Cd burning.

that could be a reason the cds dont play? ![]() |

Re: itunes Cd burning.
There's some other issue, these are all the same files that would burn no problem on my old computer. mp4's & mp3's since it's a Audio CD there never was an issue before, so I'm trying to figure out why it all the sudden started when i got the new PC.
