Anyone know of any good programs to make your own dvds? I want to make menus and such for different videos.

Re: dvd creating

I found that Nero Vision was on the cd I had I tried it out and its what I needed. Only thing it doesn't support all the file types that I have, real media files to be exact. Would I have to convert those to avi or mpeg files first?

Re: dvd creating

I'm having trouble with Nero Vision. On some videos that I have, and go to make a menu and that in the creation process then get to the final step and go to make the dvd, then the program just hangs when its trying to format some of the videos. They are .avi files and I have made some other dvds with .avi files. Any ideas on why it would do that?

Or is there a better program out there that can convert more and different types of files?
