I can't openly admit to using any programs over the interwebz...

...But if I were to download any type of music I would Strongly suggest Limewire...with good virus protection to your computer. And if still availavble...try downloading Limewire Pro via Limewire...

Re: Downloading music?

Many bad users attach viruses and trojans to files on P2P. Not all anti virus will pick it up, alot code their own and it's not recognized by anti virus until after a good while and they've already taken whatever info they want from your comp. So NEVER open any .exe from limewire or any P2P. Even torrents are becoming more and more infected, lots of undetected key loggers and trojans now.

Torrents are a much safer than P2P, but still not 100%.

So quit making those bullshlt stupid excuses for it. Because "technically" you don't know what you're talking about.

If you're going to do it, just do it, don't be a bltch and lie about it, trying to make bullshlt excuses for it.

Re: Downloading music?

I think more often than not the RIAA goes after people who upload, but that's not to say you aren't going to get caught downloading. If you use Limewire, or any other peer to peer client, you are honestly straight up stupid. Not only do you greatly increase your chance of getting a virus, but you also increase your chance of getting caught. With torrents your download is spread over a bunch of different download locations making it much harder for it to be traced to you.

That all being said, I don't understand how the RIAA can expect people to buy every song they want to listen to. I love music, and all different kinds. At one point last year I had somewhere around 60 gb of music totaling 12000 songs on my harddrive. I'll be generous and divide that up into cd's of 15 songs each so approximately 800 cd's. If I had bought each and every one of those at mmm lets say $12 per cd that would be $9600. with tax in my state that turns into $10,272. And that's being generous. If I bought every one off of itunes at $.99 per song that's nearly $12k. Granted I may not have listened to every song I had, but there is no chance I would be buying all of that being 21 years old and a college student.

Don't act stupid. We all know damn well what he is talking about.

I'm sure this is just you're lame attempt to save face, but you do know exactly what he wants. so don't even attempt to challenge what I said.
