chevy42083, get rid of all that AT&T "support" crap. That shit runs more crap in the background slowing down your computer. I have AT&T DSL also, and have never run any of their shitty programs. Also get rid of Norton, it's worthless. Get Avira Antivir. It's free and better than norton and mcaffee could ever dream of being.

I've used the support stuff when it didn't find the connection... that ran through the reconnecting stuff... but that was a phone line issue, not software. Never really thought of it slowing it down.
Norton was free with computer purchase, so I figured why not
