Anyway to turn off auto install updates?
My updates download automatically and that's fine, but when I put my laptop in standby the updates will automatically install and all my Firefox windows will close out when I come out of standby, is there a way for me to turn off the "auto-install" part?
Also with some updates Vista wants to restart the computer automatically and I have to keep on hitting postpone for 4 hours, is there a way around this. It's really annoying. |

Re: Anyway to turn off auto install updates?
Launch Windows Update, in the left pane click Change Settings.
Click the radio button that says "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them." or "Never check." |
