I wouldn't mind getting a Android phone, for the apps and design. |

I'd like to get that Hero, but i'm not due up for a full rebate with Sprint yet until like June-ish.

Re: android phone thread
I am getting the hero by this weekend. I am so excited. all i have heard was good things about it (aside from the battery life, but MEh) I have had so many problems with my instinct that sprint renewed my upgrade pricing and i have only been with them for 7 months. Just gotta ask nicely

Re: android phone thread
Ok so i got the hero, and all i can say is AWESOME PHONE. There are so many apps available that it is sick. And most are free!!!!!!!! If anyone has any questions about it let me know and i will try to answer them for you. I have messed with it and had to charge the battery 2 times in one day from all the app downloads.

Re: android phone thread
I'm actually looking into getting the new Verizon one when it comes out on November 6th. I have some questions though (since I haven't held it).
How is the battery life? How's the operating system speed, does it take long to open programs? Are the apps like the iphone, are they hard to get? How's your monthly bill, I know you need the data plan with it. |

Re: android phone thread
verizon sucks so expensive my plan with sprint is 70 bucks for unlimited data, text, gps, picture mail and all that crap and i get 450 talk mins. phone is fast but i havent downloaded a bunch of stuff yet so i dont know if that will affect it. surfing the web is not bad for a phone this is my first full screen web browsing phone so i cant compare it to anything else

Re: android phone thread
That's not bad. I'm with Verizon now and I pay $60/month and I only have unlimited texts. But my phone has WiFii so I can go online for free, which is really nice.
Sounds good. I'm going to wait a little bit before upgrading. I think I'm definitely going with a Droid though. |
