suspension ?
1991 s10 tbi swapped 350, weak motor i know but i needed a daily.
suspension needs a little work, shocks are completely blown all the way around, will rock like a babies cradle with one hand and very little pressure. any ideas for a good brand of shocks for the money? heard somethin from someone talkin about possibly mounting 2 shocks up front to support the motor? sounded a little weird to me but i guess its possible. like i said, just lookin for some ideas and ways to get the truck back up on its feet any help would be greatly appreciated! THANKS AGAIN, AUSTIN Last edited by s10w 91 : 11-02-2009 at 02:12 AM. |

Re: suspension ?
shocks do not support the vehicles weight, they're just dampers so if urs are blown out completely buying any cheap brand that are in new working condition will make a world difference. just look at shocks and decide what u wanna spend. i'm runnin nitro 2's and they're decent for cheap but i've also ran gabriel vst's and those are dirt cheap and seem to work just fine as well

Re: suspension ?
i recommend djm coils thats what i'm runnin and i think it rides pretty nice in the front. just remember with the v8 bein in there you'll prolly end up with a inch more drop give or take than what the the coils are advertised as having unless they're v8 specific
