Steering box question

Is there a replacement box for a 91 dime that does'nt have the same gear ratio as a school bus ? My 91 came with a 2.5 and manual steering and when I smash the loud pedal you don't really want to be in the cab with me because my elbows might get cha from beating on the wheel to keep it straight I'm not really interested in power steering manual is fine just looking for something with a few less turns lock to lock . Any ideas ???
