Squeak Crack Squeak HELP!!!

I replaced all my balljoints and bushings and I still have the creaking noises. WTF?

Is it possible that tie rods can make those sounds?

Re: Squeak Crack Squeak HELP!!!

I was in the same boat, it did end up being the Hood Hinge. Sounds crazy but two 13mm wrenches did the trick. I hope u find your problem soon! those frontend noises can be a bitch!!

Re: Squeak Crack Squeak HELP!!!

Also if you have drop spindles and didn't trim the dustshields, that could be where the squeaking is coming from.

Re: Squeak Crack Squeak HELP!!!

Brad...

Whilst under my truck drilling into the heads... I discovered something...

Check the tightness of the bolts that go throught he Upper Control Arm, theres one nut on either side, 22 or 24mm i believe...

I tightened them, by by creak (besides the coil spring creak)

Re: Squeak Crack Squeak HELP!!!

I had to pick up the upper CA to grease under it and basically the whole front end. I think this will only be a temp fix though if it was the upper CA.
