shifting noise up front?

I recently picked up a 99 Reg cab 2wd 5 speed 2.2l with 160k miles and it was previously bagged and converted back. i put new front shocks up front and in the rear, fixed a evap hose on the gas tank, crack in the frame where a noth was put in. and numerous other things. and now i have noticed when i back it up while turning, like backing out of a driveway or parking space it sounds like something shifts from one spot to another in the front suspension or even a motor mount maybe. I really havent looked to see if its a ball joint or something like that, or to even see if there are upper control arm bushings are there, just wondering if its something common are what.

My regular truck is a 96 tacoma 2wd reg cab 2.4l, much more simple, reliable, and FASTER. =) Bought this pickup for my girlfriend and has only been a can of worms.

Not trying to bash s-10's though sorry, i realize the hell its been through has made it the way it is.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
