replacing steering knuckle

I need to replace the steering knuckle on my 1999 chevy S10 4x4. Does anyone know if the steering knuckle off all chevy S10's will fit. I read somewhere that the steering knuckle is the same on all models since 1982. I am hoping to pick up a good used one rather than buy new, and would appreciate any input.
