Rear shocks question
Yea I special order some KYB rear shocks with the stud top ends. well i finally got them and when i put them on i actually lost drop??? what should i do? they were supposed to have the most travel out of all the other KYB's so what went wrong?

they're probly gas-charged shocks. My old cressida was the same way: new shocks and the back end popped up an inch

what you should do is lay all the way out. then compress the shock fully. then you set you mounting points at that distance. a little more so the shock isn't totally crushed when laid out. that way you get maximum stroke out of it. same concept as bag cups. when laid out you want the bag at it's minimum height so you get the most lift out of it.
and what is up with you link setup man. looks to me like your bars and wishbone are in the same plane. i don't see any triangulation really. that and all the bars are rear of the axle. |

i know i dropped it off and they told me they would take care of it then next thing i know they screw me over. That's why i am doing a complete overhaul on it. moving everything to the front and different link setup. but yea it is a ghetto bar setup
