question about the zq8 leaf springs..
i love the s10 trucks but i am stuck with the s10 xtreme. not into lowered trucks and I need to use it for work so i want to lift the rear just a bit for a little more clearence. my question is will the regular s10 leaf springs fit the xtreme?? direct replacement??? or do i have to change parts? I have a 2003 xtreme flare side ext. cab 6 cylinder auto. thanks for all the help guys

i will trade you rear leafs....i got heavy duty rear leafs from the factory on mine and looking to do zq8 suspension....sits way to high for me ...lol...where you located?

yes stock s10 pickup springs will fit your Xtreme without any problems. Swapping them out will give you approx 1 1/2" of lift out back there. Shouldnt have to change your shocks or anything since the X shocks are the same length as the stock regualr s10 shocks are...

Does anybody know if the zq8 leaf springs will bolt right in to a 1st gen or does it need fab work and what year(s) can I find zq8 suspension sorry if its the wrong thread I just been looking for awhile and cant find anything on it

yes the zq8 leafs and coil will bolt up on a first gen no problem. The amount of drop you get out of the coils will vary depending on if the engine the coils were designed for and whats in your truck are different.
