popping noise when turning to the left!!

ok guys i have a popping noise coming from my blazer while turning left or hit a hard bump. it only happens when the truck leans real hard to the right. i cant tell exactly where its coming from but sometimes it sounds like its coming from the passenger front wheel and sometimes it sounds like its coming from under the passenger side floorboard. its got me stumped and i dont know where to start, can someone help me?

what year is your truck??? mine was doing the same thing but yesterday i changed the pins and bushings in the driver side door that stopped the poppin which i thought was the ball joints ,you know the bushings are bad if you have a hard time closing your door or your door seems to drop a little bit when you open it

check tierods... lift the front of the truck and see how much you can move them left to right if it's any significant amount then thats your prob...

Re: popping noise when turning to the left!!

Check the swaybar endlinks for looseness or missing/destroyed bushings or worse, and the swaybar bushings (on frame).
Also the notorious hood hinges come loose and will give you this sound as odd as that may seem.
Of coarse check balljoints and tierods first.

There use to be a few threads on this problem aswell.

Re: popping noise when turning to the left!!

i checked the tierods the other day when painting my wheels but they seem fine other than everything is caked with mud. not my fault either iv only had the truck 2 months but workin third shift makes it hard to get up early and get the pressure washer out and wash the frame. i think im going to start by washing every thing off and greasing all the joints and see if that helps. im thinking it could be a dry joint? and i also just done the wobble the wheel up and down ordeal but i moved it every way possiable and no excess movement that should not be there.
