Looking for some good RUCA's

Hey so im redoing my suspension up front with new rear and upper control arms (RUCA) and i want to know whats a good set to get. I currtent have the zq8 suspension with a 2/3 drop (blocks and spindles) and i want to keep the ride hight that i currently have (so no lower or higher). I dont know where to look besides Summitt Racing. Anybody got any ideas and or pictures of their RUCA's? Or does any1 have and suggestions on a particular brand?

Re: Looking for some good RUCA's

You have to be more specific. Are you talking about the rear? If so, stock came with leaf springs. If you have an aftermarket 3 link or 4 link, you need to say so.
If you're referring to the fronts, it's UCA or LCA and there is no reference to an 'RUCA' unless you'd like to explain what you're referring to. Once you explain that, what are your intentions? Road race, more caster/camber adjustablility, just looking to burn some cash?

Re: Looking for some good RUCA's

A RUCA is an abreviation to Rear and Upper Control Arms. Please read! But don't worry about it cause I found strong arm control arms for the upper and lower arms

Re: Looking for some good RUCA's

ok let me school you a little bit. whenever there is an abbreviation of a word or meaning, you dont include words such as and, of, and the. Its Rear & Upper Control arms. Not that hard of a concept. Stay in school buddy.

Re: Looking for some good RUCA's

Dude, a rear upper control arm (RUCA) is for a link style rear suspension. i.e. fox body mustang. If it's on the front suspension they are simply refered to as upper control arms (UCA). That's where the confusion has come in with these other guys responses.

And you say that there is a re-occuring problem of rotting bushings and broken ball joints? Where and how are you driving where a rubber bushing rots and balljoints break, not only once, but over and over?

Re: Looking for some good RUCA's

the problem people are having is you asking for a rear control arm...

Damn. Listen to yourself dude! Just lock this thread please. This guy isn't getting anywhere.

THERE IS NO REAR CONTROL ARM! Take the "R" away from RUCA; it's just Upper Control Arm(UCA) and Lower Control Arm(LCA). All of these components are on the Front (F) of the truck so stop talking about Rears (R).

RUCA is my dog's name and YOU'RE coming across as dumber than her! Definitely more ignorant

x2

Unless you want to have tons of squeaking and see 'wtf' looks on people's faces as you slowly roll by, I would seriously consider staying away from polys. Not to mention feeling every little bump you roll over on the road with your butt. I would rank stock rubber bushings above polys for a truck that is driven on streets.
