Ok so the lower has been fixed and it probably wasn't bad but was questionable. The upper was fine so it wasn't replaced. Yet i still have the metallic knock down in the driver side footwell when i hit a bump and its not the hood hinge.

Door pins/bushings?

Open your door about 6 inches and try to move it up and down, any movement means you need new ones.

Oh yes it moves. Not a whole lot but i know it does. I always thought it sounded like it came from the corner of the door down by the footwell too. I think its probly time for new shocks too which could be it. I think i still have the stock ones.
