ive got a 98 blazer, the left front tire keeps getting worn down on the inside. could that be because i have a bad tie rod end?

Re: inner

I'd try getting an alignment first before you go replacing parts. Might be as simple as that, and the shop should be able to tell you if something is wrong while it is in there.

Re: inner

put a jack under the control arm and jack it up with the trucks weight on the tire still. Grab the top and bottem of the tire and try to wobble it. If you cab feel it give its probobly a bad ball joints. if you can feel give by grabing the front and back of the tire then its must likley a tie-rod maybe inner or outer dont know. But hey ball joints about $20 each. tierod $30 each I bet its the upper ball joint. if you know what your doing it only take about 30 minutes.
Gind Rivet, Heat rivets and Pound out using a punch. using a prybar remove ball joint and install the newone and tourqe the new bolt.
