first gen susp question

Ok, I have a 92 dime std cab shortbed, 4.3, 2wd tahoe pkg. I'm poor beyond poor, lol, and i want to find a way to drop it at least a little bit without spending. I know, stupid, but i'm tired of sitting around and not doing anything to it. Keep in mind whatever i do now will NOT be permanent, just waiting a few months for some money to roll in. bills kill. I DO have a 89 parts truck that's in pretty good shape. Its a 2.5 4 banger. I was wondering if i could swap out the leaf springs and coil springs on it to mine, because i like the stance of the parts truck a LOT more than mine. And if i can, which i don't really see why it won't work, just trying to do a little research first, will i need to swap out shocks and other stuff as well... Thanks to all in advance....

The 2.5 front springs will drop under the weight of a 4.3. If you know how you can cut a coil off the spring to lower it a lil bit more. The rear springs should be the same unless your 92 has the HD suspension in it. You can put the rear springs in it and also take out the overload spring for a bit more drop.

Swap the 2.5 springs in and pull some leafs out of the back. I would leave the overload in though
