drop spindles vs tubular lower control arms
Which would you use and why?
Are there disadvantages with either choice? |

I would not ever use drop control arms. You lose too much ground clearance. Spindles will also will not be as far out of alignment.

Re: drop spindles vs tubular lower control arms
I am looking at modifying my lower control arms myself, as for clearance I should have at least 4", my truck is not going off-road anytime soon.
Why do you think they are too low? I should keep my original alignment using the original parts |

Re: drop spindles vs tubular lower control arms
years back i had the 3" drop arms from djm...all they do is lower the spring 3" so theres just that much metal hanging down for the spring to sit in...i hated them and took them off after a little over a year. I never had any problems with them I just didn't like them hanging down and switched to spindles.
