95 S10 Manual Gear Box choices
I have a 95 S10 2wd. I'm looking to change the gear box to a manual box. I did it before on my camaro and I used a 1 gen s10 box. What would I use for the 95 same one or they make one for the truck? I'm new to the 2 gen's so please bare with me. I looked at all parts stores and I'm not showing anything. I searched on here also with no luck. Thanks for the help in advance

You could probably get a Vega manual box to bolt
right on, but the biggest prob is the pitman arm.. |

Yeah I'd Like To Know The Same Thing .. I Looked At My Buddies Old Body And It Looks Like The Shaft Coming Out Of The Gear Box Is Longer On The Old Body

I think some thread readers are thinking "transmissions" when others are talking about steering boxes.

Re: 95 S10 Manual Gear Box choices
As mentioned a Vega box should bolt right up. As
mentioned the prob may be locating the correct pitman arm as I believe the pitman arm dia is a bit different on the Vega's as well as spine. location. Anyway > http://ww2.borgeson.com/MANUAL%20STE...PLICATIONS.htm |
