Xtreme roll pan question
I got into an argument today with the guy that does my state inspection. He sez ALL trucks have to have a rear bumper in Pa. to pass inspection. I just put a roll pan on my Xtreme and it came from GM, so I told him that some Xtremes came from the factory with roll pans ! Am I right or wrong?

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
i believe only some work trucks came from the factory with the bumper delete. Xtreme's came from the factory with the LS bumper.

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
Looks like I'm screwed ! I don't suppose there is such a thing as a tube bumper to work with the roll pan ? Maybe like a nerf bar. I really like the clean look of it though.
Thanks for the response. Pops |

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
just find a cheap bumper somewhere or the junk yard ... and throw it on .. should bolt right up... then after inspections... sell it

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
get a junkyard bumper and bolt it on like vince said for inspections, then either sell it, or store it and use it every year for inspections, or trash it afterwards. Im so glad GA doesnt have inspections.

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
I'm in PA and no one has ever said anything about my roll pan. I guess the guy your taking it to is being a dick. I know I have taken it to the dealer and some other garage and never had any problems. Good Luck.

Re: Xtreme roll pan question
Sounds like I need a new inspection guy !! There was a local guy who was real easy. BUT, he was taking the gas tank out of a S-10. Got it out and set it on the floor, went to answer the phone and you can guess what happened next! Well , he escaped with his life. But his 3 bay garage burnt to the ground. Something to think about !!
