Repairing Fender Flares

Well guys like the title states, how should I go about repairing the fender flares. Sorry no pics I will get some this weekend. I put 295s on the truck with vette wheels and the tire had its way with the flare and cracked one of the pedestal mounts and took a side of the slots on two of the pedestal mounts if that makes sense. More than likely I will get creative with fiberglass, but I have never done any fiberglass work what so ever. So opinion and options.
Thanks guys.
