The paging thing is necessary these days. Most people just ignore the alarms of vehicles now and the owner needs to know when its going off. Especially when you are in a mall or something similar, you wont know its going off otherwise.

It has great range. Couldn't really tell you how far. 1/4 mile might be too far. Really only meant for being inside of a biulding/shopping mall that you're parked outside of. Won't help you across town. Check out Compustar on the web.

My X has been used as a truck over the years. It's got scratches, hail damage, and a broken front air dam. I hope to start some of the body work in the next few months and then get it repainted next year as well as a v8 swap and some interior work. I picked it up for $9k and it's about 60% paid off now. Here is when I got it a couple of years ago.

subzidal - was that on ice?! haha, looks cool man, are those boss 304s? Looks like it from the blurry ass pic. Get some new mirrors, and when you paint 'em do the the door handles too. Clean truck though, looks good.

A whole lot of fiberglass and interior work, and a new audio visual set up. suicide hood and fenders, suicide doors, 383 motor swap, repaint one more time, thinking about the yukon front end conversion, and a hard wood floor in the bed.

What are suicide fenders? Haven't heard that one before, do ya got any interior pics? Repainting it the same color scheme? Yukon front end would look different and set it off too. Hardwood floor in the bed would be shweet. Good luck man.

I'm actually welding the hood and fenders together and cutting the fender off at the body line where it lines up with the door and having the whole thing open up suicide. I really want to do the trailblazer front end, but its getting a bit played out, so I figured I would look into the yukon. and the paint scheme will stay the same but i am going to bring it around the firewall,behind the cab and box, and into the interior. also the the pinstriping is being taken off and air brushing some type of design in its place.

Damn dude, you're 21 too? Wish I was making the dollars like you. You got some damn good ideas, it should look really nice after all that. Interior isn't quite as "spicy" as the outside, but I suppose that's why it's all getting redone. Are you doing all the work yourself?

yeah pretty much, I don't paint tho. My best friends dad owns a body shop, plus I work there, so I get alot of time after work and on slow days to pull some hours on it. Everything inther interior was painted balck with rainbow metallic, but the picture sucks, and it didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped. How far are you from wisconsin?? I'm right one the border of MN. We're taking a cruise to the dells on sunday with a couple of other dimes from the area.

Here's what I freaking hate:

ROAD RASH

That's the main reason I don't lower it anymore than it already is - Missouri roads are bad. I had a lot of work put into this airdam and it already is starting to crack. They dont make a replacement for this so I have to be kinda careful.

are you sure they dont? looks like a stock air dam to me. they make replacments for that. but if its not stock...then i retract my previous statement

Looks stock to me. They do have replacement air dams, they're just not worth the money you're going to spend on one from GM. Any other manufacturer probably uses fiberglass, and you surely don't want that.
