It never got repainted yet...

It started out as a free paint job pretty much, dude did the spraying as long as I bought the paint, and my dad did some mechanical work for him as well...

It has turned into a nightmare! one of his people burned the paint baddd and for another thing this guy is so backed up with jobs it is unbelievable!

I'm so embarrassed, but I do drive it daily...no gas door and all!!!

I have to laugh or I will cry...

seriously though how is that possible? did he sand the paint or wet sand it? I did my truck when i repainted some stuff and it didnt look that bad and i was just kind of winging it.

Still though when the truck finally gets bagged and layed out it will look good. When are they supposed to be re-painting it? or are they? They would deff fix my truck if it looked like that

Well dr.P, I wetsanded it myself first and it did come out pimp...But dude said I missed a few spots and left some areas around the line between the two paints raised...so he said they would take care of it before buffing it all out for me.

And your right Adam...free isn't always a good thing, OBVIOUSLY! Turns out though the person responsible is a 15 year old kid with something wrong with his brain...He had crashed his car 19 times, and crashed up body shop cars into the building more than twice...so what can I say.

As for the paint it IS getting re-painted with HOK this time around, dude already has my paint ready to roll. It's gonna be Oreion Silver and Mercedes Jet Black this time around with a HOK base coat. And another plus this time I am getting 3 coats of paint, and a solid quality clear coat.

But I am still pissed off...I would have loved to have been able to taken to some shows this summer as per I did up the engine bay as well with candy blue and silver. Turned out nice.

As for when it is getting painted is up in the air, this guy is so backed up with work it's unbelievable...He appologised and shit and I can take that but DAMN look at my poor truck...

Oh, did I mention he forgot to paint my gas door...and now he can't find it?

I'm about to tear the front apart again on it. I'm going to tub for 22's BD. I got a Chrome 7" Brake Booster and some new "non SD" tubular arms.

I'm still waiting on the uppers.

I have blue LEDs for my cluster, hvac controls, and air gauges but I don't dig the exterior neon look thats just me though. Too ricey.
