sorry to be a super thread whore but i just put it back on the road 2 days ago and im sure you all know what thats like.... btw i need oem fog lights for this truck so if any one has of knows of some for sale let me know. the tailgate and tonneou cover are still getting painted. just goes to show that even with no experience good things can come as long as you have patience. absolutely no bodywork experience prior to this and me and my dad did the entire prep job. the only downside was how long it took but im really happy with the way it turned out

haha, no there was a guy makin fake plates outta plastic at a local cal show. actually pretty cool idea. for 15 bucks i thought it would be a good window decoration

got my oem fogger for 107 for both off gmpartsdirect.com just search by the part numbers

xtreme oem fog lights part #'s:
LH : 16524709
RH : 16524710

it took like two weeks cuz its a special order item but it was definetly worth the wait for this price.

are you sure thats the correct number? in the parts list sticky it says :

5977934 Xtreme Fog Lamp

but if you bought those then they must be right

ya i have a few but nothing up close of any damage...usually tried to keep that out of the pics

notice the cracked valance, mickey mouse ear mirrors, and 6 foot antenna...lol, not to mention those beautiful fogs and all the stone chips!


i circled all the problems...
the hood: someone used a polishing disc on an angle and scraped the hood all over
front: cracked valance and stone chips
side: chipped and rusted at bottom of door and both cab corners were rotted
back: still had the steps, lol and tonneau cover was gouged

i know someone is gonna get a laugh out of this...dealership wants 203.50 for each fog light housing + 41.00 for connecting wire. to a grand total of $489.00 before tax and with no mounting hardware..... WOW

the exact same thing on gmpartsdirect . com is 246 after shipping. its a lot better but still way to much for fog light imo

yea man im positive this is right i went to the dealership and had him print a diagram and list all the part numbers for the front end of an xtreme. i think the difference is just one has the lines on the lens and the other is clear or something not sure ill scan the diagram though to show u

new info on that....the part #s you gave me are for a non extreme...he said that they would fit but they are intended for regular s10 trucks not extremes. He compared two pictures of them and they look very different. so looks like im paying through my teeth or someone is going to come to my rescue and sell me a set.....any takers?

i just noticed your diagram is for a blazer/jimmy. maybe the trucks are different? blazer extreme kits tend to have diff part #s as far as ive seen

my dude said it was for blazer xtremes so i dunno...1/2 the time they dont know wut they are talking about lol but maybe the s10 xtremes and blazer xtremes have different part #'s

Bravada fog lights will work too, I dont know if their cheaper but i used some on mine its just the plastic needs to be trimmed down a little bit more, cant tell a difference.

UPDATE! Here's a pic from yesterday at my buddies house. I have recently took off the vortec stickers and put the SS style valance on. Tell me what ya'll think of the valance.
