With coilovers and 2" spindles mine drives fine

I avoid speed bumps like the plague but the front is so stiff I have no problems at traveling speeds. I need to adjust the left side cause of the famous lean which rubs while truning right at very slow speeds. I don't know how much my drop is over stock but the coilovers are all the way down. I highly recommend them to everyone who isn't a bag fanatic.

Damn I need a nice day to wash my truck.

all of the above trucks are plenty drivable even with a 5" up front..you just ahve to be more careful...heres my buddies truck thats his daily and static dropped..and he doesnt have problems..just be careful thats all.

i'm telling you. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to drive it with a 245/35/20 with inner fenders in. i couldnt turn the wheel at all, and just driving down my backstreet was rough as hell. DO NOT do it with 20s and inners! just doesnt work! seriously less than an inch between inners and tires.

now this one has 2" spindles and 2" coils and looks sick, but i don't have a clue how drivable it is.

My airdam has lost all hope!! Definatly needs to be replaced as it is

I guess I'll just wait to get it lower when I get the front cups/bags in so I can lift it to turn.

I understand wheel sizes screw with things but since I am using stock 16s will I be able to run 245/50/16s in the front where I am right now?

Ok I just went out turned my wheels did some measuring, no way I can turn with a 5" drop, not a chance!! I can get away with 3.5" in the front and 4.5" in the rear.

Ok so you guys convinced me and thank you before I wasted my time, I'll be patient and just do it when I bag the front.

look, it still looks good. the majority of the people on here have a 3.5"/4.5" drop. you need to remove the bumpstop bracket in the rear, possibly trim the front flares for tire clearance, and remove the top bolts inside the inner fender to keep your tires from getting grooved. i still think it looks tits with the 3.5/4.5-

Yeah I have to chop bumps stops off in the rear... but I bought low profile ones I'm going to replace it with so I at least have somethign there u know.

Lookin' decent bro, just sent it off to get some of the areas where the paint is messed up fixed...

After getting it all buffed out we STILL saw some spots that just didn't need to be there IMO...

Though it is all together now with the X kit and everything, wish I had a digi cam I would have taken some pics!

Check out how low my truck is now...

Went into town last night and came out of Advance Auto and saw it was near flat so I went across the street and filled it up. It made it 15 miles till I hit my neighborhood then it went flat again. At that point I wasn't going to get out the jack so I drove it home. The tire looks ruined but I already ordered 4 good tires
